Take amazing macro photos

A macro shot is an extremely close-up shot and the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max have perfect cameras for this type of shooting.

Use the ultra-wide camera lens and zoom in on a small subject like a leaf to see how well you can get a detailed snapshot.

You can download iOS updates over 5G

Former iPhone users will know that you cannot update your iPhone unless you are connected to WiFi.

However, the 5G capabilities of the new iPhones mean that this may be a thing of the past.

To download an iOS update over 5G, you will need to change your data settings.

Go to Settings, then click on the data section, then on “Data options”, “Data mode” then “Allow more data on 5G”.

Alternatively, you can use the same steps to select “Low Data Mode” when you want to save battery power.

Shoot a cinematographic video

The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro series have a cinematic video feature.

This means you can shoot a subject and keep it in focus while the background is out of focus.

Try the feature if you want to create a professional looking video.

Use the “space mode”

Apple has created a new version of its “space mode” to take better photos of the night sky on iPhone 13 Pro.

All you need is a smartphone tripod, which can be purchased inexpensively from Amazon.

This stabilizes the iPhone and allows it to take photos with a longer exposure.

This ability was already there in the iPhone, but now it is better with the iPhone 13 Pro.

Night mode lets you take photos in the dark without using a flash by having an AI that automatically lights up your shots for you.

Noise reduction, improved sensors, and improved computation for darker scenes also mean astrophotography is significantly improved on the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max.

Drag content between apps

Use the new iPhone with iOS 15 to drag and drop content between apps.

Hold your finger on an image, video, or file with one hand.

Then use the other hand to open another app and you can drop your content there.

For example, you can drop a video clip into an iMessage chat.
