Jet2, TUI, easyJet and Ryanair: travel advice updates as seven countries are taken off the red list

With all of the remaining countries removed from England’s red list for travel, new rules are in place for UK travelers.

Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Haiti, Panama, Peru and Venezuela were removed from the list at 4 a.m. on November 1.

The biggest rule change is that travelers won’t have to spend 11 nights in quarantine hotels priced at £ 2,285.

Mr Shapps wrote on Twitter: “We will keep the Red List category in place as a precautionary measure to protect public health and are ready to add countries and territories if necessary, as the Kingdom’s first line of defense. -United.”

However, rules are still in place for specific airlines and their destinations, they are listed below.

Tui says if you’re fully vaccinated and come back from a TUI vacation, you won’t have to do any pre-departure testing or self-isolate when you get home.

Ryanair

Ryanair said it would reimburse customers for canceled flights within five working days.

They also committed to confirming and granting customers access to refunds within 24 hours of a request.

Ryanair Marketing Director Dara Brady said: “In the small number of instances where we experience disruption, customers will receive regular updates, including live videos and webcasts from our hub. operations, ensuring they are kept as up to date as possible with what is going on and how their disruption will be resolved.

“In rare cases of cancellation, customers who request a refund will now receive a confirmation and access it within 24 hours in MyRyanair and will be refunded to the original payment method within five working days.”

British Airways

British Airways has extended its flexible booking policies.

If you need to travel before August 31, 2022, you can change your booking without any change fees, or request a voucher that can be used to travel any time until September 30, 2023.

“As destinations may change status, travel requirements will be updated in line with future announcements from the UK government.
